Founded in 1993 in the Netherlands, Protest Sportswear quickly became a leader in snowboarding and surfing apparel, offering stylish, functional, and sustainable clothing. The brand built a reputation for quality products at affordable prices, expanding its range to include ski wear, snowboard jackets, and bikinis, catering to both snow and surf enthusiasts. But as online shopping grew, Protest needed to evolve to stay competitive. From the beginning of our collaboration, we worked closely to implement a data-driven approach that focused on scalability, sustainability, and profitability. This strategy led to impressive year-on-year growth, including a 37% increase in orders across marketplaces in 2023 and 2024.

Overall, orders across all marketplaces rose by 37%, while GMV increased by 42%. These results demonstrate the success of their strategy in overcoming challenges and scaling operations effectively, ensuring long-term growth and profitability while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.
